A national leader in rehabilitation and complex continuing care

For more than 120 years, West Park has been helping people recover from serious illness and injury, regain their independence and get their lives back.
Since our earliest beginnings as a tuberculosis hospital, we have grown our expertise in respiratory medicine to become the largest lung rehabilitation program in Canada, and have expanded our programs to include amputee, musculoskeletal, geriatric, stroke and neurological rehabilitation; the management of spasticity, a debilitating symptom of stroke, spinal cord injury and illnesses including cerebral palsy and multiple sclerosis; and complex continuing care, including long-term ventilation.
In April 2024, we took the next, bold steps in our evolution by opening a state-of-the-art new hospital building that is allowing us to increase access to our in-demand programs and better meet the needs of our patients. We also joined the University Health Network (UHN) – Canada’s leading hospital network – allowing us to further expand the range of programs available to our most complex patients and grow our clinical research program.
