Dennis Lin's "Milky Way" Mobile Art Installation
There’s now a hint of the cosmos at UHN’s West Park!
Taiwanese-Canadian artist Dennis Lin’s mobile installation “Milky Way” was installed by the artist and his team in early December. 
This stunning hanging artwork incorporates a mix of materials and media, some of which were found on the site, some “borrowed” from the prosthetics and orthotics lab.
Stretching two floors – the second and the first – there are countless angles from which to view the piece, and spot new dimensions to it.
Lin says he was inspired by the courage and resilience of patients in the hospital and hopes that the artwork will invite people to pause on their journey through the hospital, to breathe, smile and wonder.
